Protect the terrorist destroy America

February 9th 2008 21:09

They say America is bad, and if you stand up for her you are evil, just let us make fun while the terrorist destroy you. They write blogs that belittle Americans for standing and defend America's right to defend herself.

As you view the pictures below ask yourself which is worse this one?

There were no terrorist killed or harmed in water boarding.

Or These of which there were death and destruction.

Lets keep in mind that the terrorist that got water boarded got up and walk back to his cell. While over 3000 victims of 9/11 will never get up and walk away. Now I know that the first picture of the poor innocent terrorist getting water boarded will draw more compassion from the defenders of terrorist, and bashers of America.

But you can't tell me that water boarding is worse than dieing. Maybe people's symphonies are misplaced and the blogs I have read bashing America, and me is just Fertilizer which a nice word for what it really is, but I am to polite to call what it is.

This is possibly the craziest assumption I have ever read...

Do you honestly believe that by questioning the use of torture or expecting the biggest military in the world to act responsibly it translates to KILL AMERICA??

Just as silly as assuming that civilians from once peaceful countries who expect the allies of freedom to respect basic human rights in some way makes them pro terrorist.

That sort of extremist thinking is what starts wars in the name of god or oil.

Hell I don't agree with my mother all the time. Sometimes I completely disagree with her, that doesn't mean I don't love her or that I wish she would die.

I for one love America and MANY other countries on this planet Earth. Believe it or not I don't like ANY of the killing on either side of this problem. I certainly wouldn't want more death and destruction visited upon U.S soil.

Personally I think there is a standard of humanity that should be kept by those who fly the banner of "freedom" but stock pile the largest weapons arsenal ever to exist.

Again personally I disagree with launching an all out military attack on a single country when the real enemy (Terrorists) are only small in numbers compared to the innocent civilian population that will be caught in the cossfire. Let alone the shaky ground of why we went to start with.

These fundamental problems with foreign policy do not mean that it is safe to presume I wish harm on anyone.

Please as a man who claims to be one of gods disciples, a little compassion and comprehension of human behaviour would be much more suitable that the "For us or against us", black and white logic that always starts wars.)

I hope this has started you on the road to understanding that some people just DON'T have "Hate" in there hearts.

All countries torture their enemies - the US just got caught.

It is unrealistic to think otherwise, although it shouldn't be that way - no one should torture, but they do...

Reverend,
study the picture of the Pentagon, the one you display here. Now ask yourself, what is wrong with that picture?

I will tell you...the roof line is still intact! If a big passenger jet had crashed into that building, the tail would have damaged the roof line.

There is much more to 911 than we all thought, sadly.

Get yourself a copy of "911: In Plane Site", a documentary on the events of 911, and then after watching that, ask yourself who are the real terrorists?

I hope the truth will set the great nation of America free from the tyranny of the military/industrial complex.

Pray that America finds out the truth and begins to heal itself by bringing the real perpetrators of 911 to justice.

Since when was Christianity about tit for tat? Comparing the humiliation of prisoners to 9/11 and summing up that one is worse than the other and therefore the other is excuseable is one of the least Christian things I've ever read to come from an alleged Christian... in fact, it sounds more like the eye-for-eye stuff that fanatical muslims spout!

Tell me reverend, the above stuff aside, are these islamic prisoners worthy of god's forgiveness?

Hey 'Reverend',
just wondering whether you have had a mental health check lately?

And what religion are you a minister of? Surely it cannot be Catholic, or any other main stream Christian religion?

Maybe it is a religion to your ownself, well that's fine, but hate breeds hate, and what you sew has nothing to do with God, Christianity or any other religion!

no cheers for this man of tears!

P.S. Have you been digging up your backyard late at night recently? Just wondering....

And one other thing while I am at it...Christ was a pacifist Jew!!

Had he not been so, he would not have 'allowed' his own crucifixion without objection...he would have fought back.

The ideal of Christianity, before it was distorted, debased and maligned by the practises of corrupt and mercenary pontifs and bishops of times past, and dare I say it, further twisted and corrupted by modern day venal, money grubbing, media evangelists was simply; LOVE...for all mankind...no matter what creed or breed.

The idea of religion was to lessen the suffering in the world, not create more as you promote!

Thanks for your comment, I don't support torture either the point I am trying to make and if you have read any of my comments on their other blogs is that if you criticize the us you should at least criticize the terrorist as will or you will leave the impression you hate America and support her destruction.

There is always two sides to every story. I am just sick of America being put down. Can't anyone say some good about her anymore. She at one time or another save just about every country in the world and shed her sons and daughters blood helping them.

A little kindness wouldn't hurt would it.

Hey Damo
Well Damo it is everyone that bashes America for defending herself. There is such a big deal being made about water boarding.

But seems that these same people have forgotten about the terrorist. If you are going to bash one then bash the other there are two sides to every story I just hear the negative side of America.

And to answer your question, see I am not afraid to answer questions. I don't dance around or change the subject or try to belittle anyone.

It is everyone that has unjustly bashed America, it is everyone that rejoices at her suffering. It is everyone that danced in the streets on 9/11 laughing and rejoicing. It is everyone that says America deserves to be hit by terrorist.

Of which Damo you aren't one of those are you?

Hey Anonymous

Thanks for you comments, and we do agree no country should ever torture, but to single out the US, and complain only about them is just irresponsible.

Many feel that US torture is far worse than the torture of the terrorist, they behead, they beat, they rape women, and the list goes on if you condemn torture at least condemn the terrorist also.

Hey Luke

Thanks for your comment, and to answer your question yes they are worthy of forgiveness if they truly want it. They must repent and stop being terrorist. The point is not tit for tat, it is why many believe the US is worse than the terrorist.

Why condemn America, and not the terrorist, or the rest of the countries that have and do torture. Many portrait America as an evil country. I am not trying to defend torture just America.

Hey Mountain Fog
Thanks for your comments I think seems you are in the fog and then out of it again. you must have missed your Prozac.

Christ did suffer and die for us, he was like a lamb lead to slaughter, but that was the plan. He told pilot that if his kingdom was of this world then his servant would fight.

Yes you should turn the other cheek, but America did that several times, and just kept getting hit. How much should she take before fighting back.

And Jesus is coming back to battle with the ungodly, as christians we have a right to defend ourselves. That's what got the terrorist all mess up now is that Christians do defend themselves, but looks like it has made nut cases like you mad.

One more thing while I am at it being a Christian doesn't mean you have do lay down and take every evil thing that someone dishes out to you. If were are not allow to defend ourselves we will be destroyed and God knows that.

We are showing more love, to our enemies than any other nation in the world, we clothe them, we feed them, we educate them, we shelter them, and they kill us.

I think you have been drinking the Mountain dew instead of being in the Mountain Fog.

While over 3000 victims of 9/11 will never get up and walk away

So, each year, how many people in America die from gun and/or drug related deaths. How many from motor vehicle "accidents", obesity, heart attacks?? And is this somehow related to "god"?

.. or is it only "other people" who are not related?? Get real.

No lester you just tell bold faced lies and call it Christian virtue.

Thank you for pointing out that you believe that two wrongs make a right.

Thank you also for telling everyone that you believe that the ends justify the means.

Thank you also for telling everyone that you believe in Doing Evil so that Good may follow.

Now please let me know what religion represent so that I can compare what you preach against what it believes.

Lester,
where do you draw all your information from regarding world events?

Methinks it is Fox News…

Many people, including me especially, love America, I even have American family members, we love that part of America that really does want to help the world, and treat each other in a fair and humanitarian way.

The problem is, your media has enjoined the powerhouse of the military industrial complex, doing the bidding of powerful vested interests, so your news, and increasingly Australian news too, is being delivered in a one sided, distorted way, to ensure that the big corporations get what they want, and hang the truth or cost to innocent lives.

This criticism is not applicable only to America, increasingly it applies to more Western, and now Eastern, countries each year.

For instance, did you know that America makes most of its money through armament manufacture? Just sit back and contemplate that for a minute.

America is not alone in this. Many other nations are the same, and they all need war in order to make a profit for the nation.

I abhor terrorists as much as I abhor those who use the incitement of war as a means to line their pockets with money.

These people, as I have said, are from many nations, however, because I love the America I was brought up to respect and be thankful to, for helping save Australia from the Japanese in WW2, I expect America to uphold the ideals they fought for back then, alongside my dear father, who fought with them.

cheers and may God enlighten you to the truth and cast the hatred from your heart!

Since you are leaving I will bid you farewell with few parting thoughts.

I find it difficult to understand how anyone would so shamelessly promote themselves as a religious would have so little understand and knowledge of theology.

You asked me a direct question about whether I would water torture someone to save my family, the insinuate that a real man would. Yet at the same time you expect a christian answer to such a moral dilemma. I have answered this question 3 times and you still insist that I have not. So I will play your little game and provide you with what I see as a Christian answer to your leading question.(I play the apologist even with my limited knowledge)

If a person is supposed to be a christian they are supposed to reject sin.
Torture is a sin.

In some non-christian, pagan or atheist ideologies this may permissible but to a christian this is not.

Sinning for goodness is insanity. It as insane as selling your soul to the devil to save someone else's.

So a person may actually go ahead and waterboard torture to save their family but in doing so they have sinned. Sins can be forgiven.

If you think I am being pedantic then use this same logic on the abortion issue. The same logical outcome is derived and therefore the same rules apply to the sin factor.

Take the logic to its furthest extension then Christ was justifiably crucified because he threatened the very existence of the establishment. Christians should have been thrown to the lions because they threatened the existence of the Roman Empire. In essence your implication that it is sometimes okay to torture is anti-christian.

Finally I do not care what you think of me. I have been hated by better people than yourself. Nor do I care whether read this or not. It is for others to read and decide whether you are right or just some windbag on a high horse.

Damo you need to take a long look at yourself, you are not the person you portrait yourself to be. I don't think you know the first thing about me or anyone else for that matter you have not figured out what you are yet.

This is the last time I care to respond to you. You think you are better than me and are some how are superior to everyone else. You have tried to be a orble vigilante and run rough shot over people here.

I am sick of you and your posse taking someones free speech away I watch how S.L. was treated. You claim to know a lot about Christ, would he write what you write, would he talk like you talk, I don't think so.

It is a sad day when you take the side of terrorist over Americans, you do harbor a clear vicious contempt for America, and it's people.

D. said you was just reporting, well if that is the case I see that kind of bias bull all the time if you claim to report then report fair and balanced.

I have read a lot of your posts, and none was ever favorable to America you are just as guilty of hate as you accuse me of being.

Physician heal thyself. Don't reply this is it for me write your own post if you want, but I don't care to argue any more.
